Once a year that night rolls around and allows the supernatural to become a reality. Children around the world scurry from house to house in search of sugary treats. The ghouls, goblins, and spirits frolic about on their one true night of freedom. It’s only on Halloween that these inexplicable entities can grace the physical real without being noticed. While some may find this rare occasion creepy and unsettling, I on the other hand see it as a time of pure old-fashioned fun. Halloween has been my favorite day of the year ever since I can remember. This is why I enjoy every second of it with my daughter. She simply loves it when I read Halloween books to her.
