Major Depression – it’s a sad thing

Many studies have been done on the effect of major depression.  One, found on www.nami.org, known as the National Alliance on Mental Illness, claim that about 9.9 m people over the age of 18 are affected during any 12 month period.  When it comes to disabilities, major depression ranks number one as the leading cause in the US and other ‘western’ civilizations.  Credited for many suicides, it must be noticed and dealt with as soon as possible.  Particularly for women, who are twice more likely to suffer than men, if a major instance is experienced, it’s more likely to happen again before old age.
