Baby quilt patterns are a well observed tradition in our family and I am glad to be able to pass it on.

As is the case with many couples expecting their first child, we received an abundance of baby gifts, diapers, toys and clothes when little Hannah arrived. But some of the most treasured items can’t be purchased. They are made with love by the grandparents or aunts of the new arrival.

Did you know there are CD’s designed specifically for introducing the family dog to the unfamiliar baby sounds that accompany a new little life. One of the best know of these is titled “The Sounds of Baby: An Ensemble of Baby Noises to Prepare Your Family Dog for Baby’s Arrival.” This is just brilliant if you are sensitive to your dogs needs.

Finding A Plush Teddy Bear Friend

This plush teddy bear is almost as big as Sarah, my niece, and so she makes quite a site carrying it into the room. She has to bend backwards to lug the huge plush teddy bear around with her, and sometimes has to take a rest. She loves to cuddle with it, but even more likes to wrestle with it. She says the funniest things, too. The other day, she was complaining that whenever they wrestle, the plush teddy bear always wins.
